Samuel Tracy
Samuel Tracy is a Director, Theatre-maker, Playwright and Movement Practitioner based in Greater Manchester.
His training includes RADA (2018-2021), The BRIT school for Performing Arts and Technology (2013-2017), Frantic Assembly Ignition Company (2016) and The National Youth Theatre (2014).
Samuel's work ranges from classical theatre (Romeo & Juliet at The Southwark Playhouse) to cutting edge contemporary new writing (Paines Plough Roundabout Season). Samuel is one of the founding members of “Sixth House” Theatre Company, established as part of a new artist development programme from Lowry called Hothouse, an initiative created to be the genesis of a brand-new multidisciplinary collective that will represent and enrich the theatrical landscape of the North West of England.
Samuel is currently developing a one man show “The Smoke of Palo Santo” that received R&D space from The Royal Exchange Theatre; A reimagining of John Marstons’ Jacobean classic “The Dutch Courtesan” and debuting “LIVES” Sixth House’s inaugural production, at Lowry in early 2025.
