Europeans: Dramas from a Divided Union
HEADLONG AND THE GUARDIAN PRESENT
Thirty years on from the fall of the Berlin wall and the rise of liberal democracy, the European Union now faces a new set of challenges. As British politics is dominated by a divisive Brexit, Europeans: Dramas from a Divided Union, explores the issues consuming other EU countries, and how their unique histories have defined their relationship to the Union.
Headlong and The Guardian have come together to co-produce a political monologue series, commissioning seven high profile writers from across Europe to write intimate fictional scripts, performed in their first language by well-known actors from each country.
