Amy trained at the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama gaining a Masters in Classical Acting.
After working as an actor for several years Amy decided to hang up her performing hat and move into production. In 2011 she joined Paines Plough working on their first Roundabout Season at Sheffield Theatres which comprised Duncan Macmillan’s Lungs, Nick Payne’s One Day When We Were Young and Penny Skinner’s The Sound of Heavy Rain.
Following Paines Plough, Amy was Assistant Producer for Natural Shocks Ltd and Theatre503’s production of Mathematics of the Heart by Kefi Chadwick and Associate Producer for the Soho Theatre’s Short Plays By… Morgan Lloyd Malcolm. She produced The Love Project for Look Left Look Right; a verbatim piece about East End love that she co-created with director Ellie Browning which went on to win the IdeasTap Underbelly Award.
Amy joined Playful Productions in 2012 and worked on a number of West End and touring productions including Wicked, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Audience, Dirty Dancing, Shrek The Musical and most recently Kinky Boots, which won three Olivier Awards including Best New Musical.
