Alecia Marshall

Alecia joined Headlong in January 2015 on a university placement before accepting the job of Production Assistant.

Alecia graduated from the University of Liverpool with an English degree in 2012 before undertaking an internship at a small fringe venue: Lantern Theatre Liverpool. Working alongside the Artistic Director and Marketing Manager, Alecia acquired a well-rounded knowledge of independent performance venues. In 2013 Alecia accepted the role of Arts Editor of North West publication The Collective, progressing to Deputy Editor later that year.

Alecia was a member of Young Everyman Playhouse’s Young Producers scheme in which she set up an ongoing scratch night, Scene Change, which continues to showcase new, artistic talent in Liverpool and the North West.

In 2015, Alecia completed her MA in Creative Producing at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

In 2015 she was Theatre Editor of The Skinny and wrote regularly for The British Theatre Guide.

Alecia started working for Headlong in 2015 on an internship, before being promoted to Assistant Producer and then Producer.
