Ten years on, a team of major writers and thinkers explore our responses to the defining event of our times in this new production, directed by Headlong’s Artistic Director Rupert Goold.
A former trading hall is transformed into an immersive theatrical experience, taking you from the tranquil setting of St Katharine Docks on the River Thames to the bright blue skies of downtown Manhattan and beyond.
Writers announced include celebrated voices from film and theatre including Pulitzer Prize winner Lynn Nottage and finalist Christopher Shinn, Tony Award-winner John Logan, eminent historian and social commentator Simon Schama along with one of the UK’s rising stars, playwright and screenwriter Abi Morgan. Other writers include Samuel Adamson, Mike Bartlett, Alecky Blythe, Ben Elis, Ella Hickson, Samuel D. Hunter, Matthew Lopez, Mona Mansour, DC Moore, Rory Mullarkey, Janine Nabers, Harrison David Rivers, Beth Steel & Alexandra Wood.
